Indications & Dose:

Long term management of asthma only when the need for inhaled corticosteroid and bronchodilator therapy has been established.


DOSAGE:


ADULTS: 2 puffs three or four times daily.


CHILDREN: 1 or 2 puffs two to four times daily.

Precautions:

Hyperthyroidism, myocardial insufficiency, angina, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, pregnancy. Active or quiescent pulmonary tuberculosis. Transferring from systemic steroids.

Interaction:

Sympathomimetics.

Warnings:

Adverse Effects:

Fine tremor, nervous tension, headache, peripheral vasodilatation. Hoarseness, candidiasis of the mouth of and throat.
