Indications & Dose:
Adult and Child >l6 yr
Hypertension and angina:Usually 1tab once daily max Bisoprolol 20mg and hydrochlorthiazide 12.5mg

Contraindications:
2nd and 3rd degree Heart block ( without pacemaker, severe bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome, uncontrolled heart failure, cardiogenic shock, severe peripheral arterial disease, hypotension, metabolic acidosis, untreated pheochromocytoma, severe asthema or COPD.

Precautions:
1st degree AV block, Heart failure ( avoid if uncontrolled. Peripheral arterial circulatory disease (avoid if severe), Prinzmetal’s angina, myasthenia gravis, ischemic heart diseas, withdraw gradually. History of brochospasm, Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, renal or hepatic impairment, psyriasis,. Elderly consider withdrawal before elective surgery. Anyphylaxis risk due to increased sensitivity to allergens. Always withdraw gradually over period 1-2 weeks
Interaction:
Calcium channel antagonists, Alpha-1 adrenergic blockers: Antipsychotics. TCAD. MAOIs, fluvoxamine, barbiturates, cardiac glycosides, sympathomimetics, cimetidine, hydralazine,Rifampicin, antidiabetics, NSAIDs, ergot derivatives, erethromycin, anaesthesia, diuretics
