Indications & Dose:
Functional bowel/irritable bowel syndrome; adjunctive treatment of peptic ulcer disease,* infant colic
Adults: Susp: 1-2 teaspoonful 3-4 times per day.
Children: 2-4 months 5-10mg 3 times daily, 15 minutes before feeds 2-12 years 10 mg 3 times daily or 1-2 teaspoonful 3-4 times per day.
Contraindications:
Narrow angle glaucoma, GI obstruction, myasthenia gravis, paralytic ileus, GI atony, toxic megacolon.

In pregnancy, breast-feeding, old age, Hyperthyroidism, coronary artery disease, dysrhythmias, CHF, ulcerative colitis, hypertension, hiatal hernia, hepatic disease, renal disease, urinary retention, prostatic hypertrophy, small children, Down Syndrome

Amantadine, Tricyclic antidepress, MAOIs, HI1-antihistamines: Increased anticholinergic effects
Phenothiazines, Levodopa, Ketoconazole: Decreased therapeutic effects
