| Types | Types: 1. Accidental hemorrhage/Abruptio placente- hemorrhage due to partial separation of a placenta normally situated on the upper segment of the utrus. 2. Placenta previa- hemorrhage due to partial separation of a placenta abnormally situated on the lower uterine segment. 3. Incidental hemorrhage- hemorrhage due to a lesion of the cervix or vagina such as an erosion, a polyp or a carcinoma. |
