Chlorhexidine

Indications & Dose:

INDICATIONS: Wounds, burns, fissures, cervical erosion, stomatitis, bladder irrigation.Antmicrobial preparation with cleansing properties for general antiseptic purposes

DOSE : Dilute before use. Apply once or twice a day.

1:100 aqueous: Treatment of wounds and burns, swabbing in obstetrics, gynaecology and urology. Clean instrument disinfection. (30 min. immersion). Cleansing/disinfection of equipment, furniture and fittings, storage of clinical thermometers and sterile instruments.

1:30 aqueous: Treat-ment of wounds and burns where greater antisepsis is required.

1:30 in 70% alcohol: Pre-operative skin antisepsis. Disinfection of clean instruments. (2 min. immersion)
