Indications & Dose:

INDICATIONS: Used in cases of temporary or permanent renal failure to remove the excess of water and accumulated waste products normally excreted from the body by kidney and to correct electrolyte imbalance without the use of artificial kidney; for hastening the elimination of poisons of low molecular weight (aspirin, barbiturates) as well as substances of higher molecular weight.

DOSAGE: To be infused into the peritoneal cavity through a catheter, allowed to remain in the body for about an hour and then drained from the cavity through the catheter
