Flucinolone Acetonide

Indications & Dose:

Cream/Ointment/Lotion: Steroid responsive skin conditions.

Gel: Seborrhoea, Seborrhoeic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp, inflammatory dermatosis

DOSE :

Cream/Ointment/Lotion: A small quantity applied lightly to the affected are 2-3 times daily

Gel: For scalp application . Message in morning and evening and night, maintainance once or twice daily

Contraindications:

Monotherapy in primary bacterial infections such as impetigo, erysipelas, cellulitis, angular chillitis, tratment of roseasea
Gel: Seborrhoea, Seborrhoeic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp, inflammatory dermatosis

Side Effects:

Burning, itching, irritation, erythema, dryness, follicullitis, skin atrophy

Systemic effects usually results from use of potent steroid , use over large surface area and in the comditions of occlusive dressing. If local irritation develops to continue use /
