Indications & Dose:

Mild & moderate plaque psoriasis. Chronic stable plaque type psoriasis in adults.


DOSE Apply twice daily max 100 gm per week


Children Not recommended

Contraindications:

 Calcium metabolism disorders, severe extensive or pustular psoriasis, ophthalmic use. Hypersensitivity to any constituents of calcipotriol ointment.

Side Effects:

Transient irritation, dermatatis, pruritus aggravation of psoriasis, photosensitivity. Local irritation, photosensitivity. Avoid face

Precautions:

Excessive prolonged use, sunlight exposure, not to be used on face since ointment formulation may give rise to irritation of facial skin. Careful handwashing after use is recommended. Use with caution in children.


Pregnancy: Safety not established.


Breast-feeding: Use with caution.
