Indications & Dose:

 Prevention of TB

DOSE

Inj: 0.1 ml intradermally. 

Contraindications:

Cancerous conditions & leukemia, severe chronic visceral disorders, chronic nephritis, lipoid nephrosis, uncorrected cardiopathy, immunosuppression.

Side Effects:

Occassionally 100 grade fever. 

Cautions:

BCG can be associated with infantile vaccines. If it is not, no other vaccination should be given for at least 1 month
