Children : In infants maintain pressure over lacrimal sac. for 1 min. Ointment safe. Drops not recommended.


Refraction. 1 drop twice daily for one or two days before examination. 

Contraindications:

Side Effects:

Transient stinging, dry mouth, blurred vision, photophobia, tachycardia, headache, psychotic reactions, behavioural changes,  local irritation, contact dermatitis & dilated pupils.

In infants pressure should be exerted on inner canthus of eye after each instillation for a few minutes.
