PIPETHANATE ETHOBROMIDE

Indications & Dose:

Smooth muscle spasm



Inj: Adults :One Amp of 10mg daily.



Adults: 1-2 tablet of 10mg three times daily.


Children : Not recommended.Spasm of smooth muscles.


 


 


 


 


 

Contraindications:

Narrow angle glaucoma, prostatic adenoma with residual urine formation, mechanical stenoses of the gastro¬intestinal tract, tachyarrhythmias, megacolon, allergy to pyrazolone derivatives, acute intermittent porphyria.

Side Effects:

Dryness of the mouth, reduced secretion of sweat glands, redening of skin, difficulties in accommodation, glaucoma attacks (narrow angle glaucoma), tachycardia, micturition difficulties; leucopenia and agranulocytosis (pharyngitis may be the first sign of this latter effect).
