INTERFERON ALFA-2B

Indications & Dose:

Hepatitis B and C viruses, Human Papilloma Virus, Herpes Zoster, infection by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), malignant neoplasia in the hematopoietic tissue (Hairy Cell Leukemia, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, low and medium grade Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma). Solid tumours, Carcinoid tumors, Metastatic Renal Carcinoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma, Kaposi’s Sarcoma associated to AIDS and Melanoma. BY DOSE According to the nature of the disease. 

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to alpha interferon, dextran.

History of severe cardiac disease, severe renal and or hepatic compensation, convulsions or the functional alteration of the Central Nervous System, and autoimmune or allergic diseases. Since the safe use of interferon in pregnant women has not yet been established.
