Indications & Dose:
Hypertension in patients whose BP is not controlled by Valsartan monotherapy.
Adults: 1 tab 80/12.5mg one daily. Increased up to 160/12.5mg as per patient response.
Children: Not recommended.
Contraindications:
Valsartan: Severe hepatic impairment, cirrhosis, biliary obstruciton. Pregnancy, lactation.

Valsartan: Mild to moderate hepatic impairment, renal impairment, salt or volume depletion, renal artery stenosis, severe cardiac insufficiency. Monitor serum K+ in elderly and renally impaired if taking K+ suppl.
Interaction:
Valsartan: K+sparing diuretics, K+supplements, salt substitutes.

Valsartan: Very rarely syncope, thrombocytopenia, renal dysfunction, angioedema.
