Indications & Dose:

Infective hepatitis A, chronic active hepatitis, toxic metabolic hepatic damage (e.g. fatty infiltration of liver), carbon tetrachloride poisoning, mushroom poisoning. As a supportive treatment in cirrhosis and alcoholic liver disease.


DOSE 70-140mkg bid/tid


 

Contraindications:

Hepatic encephalopathy, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, obstructive jaundice.
