INDICATIONS AND DOSE AND ADMINISTRATION


Constipation


Adult: PR Insert 1 suppository or 5-15ml of enema of high into rectum and retain for 15 min.


Child: PR Insert 1 suppository or 2-5ml of enema high into rectum and retain for 15 min.

Contraindications:

PRECAUTIONS CONTRAINDICATED IN:


Safe use during pregnancy (category C) and in nursing women not established. Cautious used in: cardiac, renal, or hepatic disease; diabetes mellitus; dehydrated or elderly patients.

Side Effects Or Adverse Reactions:

Headache, nausea, vomiting, thirst, diarrhea, hyperglycemia, glycosuria, dehydration, hyperosmolar nonketotis coma, irregular heartbeat, disorientation. Suppository form: abdominal cramps, rectal discomfort, hyperemia of rectal mucosa.
