Indications & Dose:

Gastroprokinetic agent, prescribed for acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome and indigestion.


DOSAGE : 


BY MOUTH


Adult: Oral- The recommended dose is 5mg, 3 times/day. It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.


 

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Side Effects:

Diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness, constipation, headache, sleeplessness, nausea and vomiting.

Cautions:

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney impairment, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. *Continuous admin of this drug is not recommended if no improvement in GIsymptoms is observed after treating for 2 weeks with this medication.
